Arri Master Primes
Arri’s Master Prime lenses are a fast, revolutionary and unique generation of high-speed prime lenses with unprecedented resolution, incredible contrast, and virtually no breathing.
The Master Prime lenses open up new creative opportunities, making shots possible that would have been considered impossible before. The widest stop of T1.3 allows shooting in low or available light for more natural-looking shots and a reduction of the lighting budget. In addition, a wide open stop creates the cinematic look of an extremely shallow depth of field.
Master Primes have no visible optical distortion, meaning footage can easily be matched with computer-generated imagery. They also feature ARRI’s Lens Data System, which displays real-time lens status and depth of field information.
